DS8881N - DIL28

DS8881N is a Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) driver integrated circuit, primarily designed to drive 16-digit grids of a vacuum fluorescent display.

• Grid Capacity: Designed to drive up to 16-digit grids.
• Operating Voltage: Specifically designed for 9V operation.

• Integrated Components: Features an on-chip oscillator for clock signals, a filament bias zener (7V), and 50 kΩ pull-down resistors for each grid.
• Package Type: Typically available in a DIP-28 (28-pin Dual In-line Package).
• Enable Input: Provides interdigit blanking to ensure "ghost-free" display operation by disabling all outputs when pulled low.
